Rachel Eleanor Brook is a neuroqueer textile and fibre artist and community practitioner based in North Tyneside. Working across assemblage, textile, painting, found objects and moving image, her practice brings together conceptual and abstract approaches with embodied material exploration.
Alongside studio work, Brook develops community-based projects through creative enquiry, facilitation and documentation. Textiles and artist film form an important part of this work, supporting participatory practice that explores heritage, autism, neuroqueerness and gender non-binaries. Across both studio and community contexts, her work centres access, visibility and joy.
