Rachel Eleanor Brook is a neuroqueer textile and fibre artist and community practitioner based in North Tyneside. Working across assemblage, textile, painting, found objects, moving image and participatory practice, their work brings together conceptual and abstract approaches with embodied material exploration, sensory engagement and collective experience.
Alongside studio work, Brook develops community-led projects through creative enquiry, facilitation and documentation. Textile, artist film and dialogue form an important part of this practice, supporting participatory work that explores heritage, autism, neurodivergence, migration, memory and shared experience. Across both studio and community contexts, their work centres access, visibility, care and joy.
